Bud's Sailing Center

The American Sailing Association (ASA) is based in California and is dedicated to training, teaching and certifying schools and sailing instructors. Schools affiliated with the ASA follow a specific perscribed curriculum which assures you are receiving a professional training program, conducted by an ASA trained instructor using ASA training materials. Students can be assured that the ASA course meets the highest possible standards and certification is internationally recognized. An ASA certification is proof of sailing ability and entitles the bearer to U.S. Coast Guard endorsed training progams and chartering privilages around the world. Beginning October 1, 2007 the ASA will charge a one time certification fee of $39. This charge is not included in the course costs listed on Bud's website.
