Basic Keelboat Sailing Course
This course is designed for the beginning sailor. Learn the fundamentals of sailing and on the water safety. Upon
completion of this course student will have an understanding of basic boat handling procedures and sailboat design.
Course content: ASA certified course includes a study guide, exam and log book. Course covers basic sailing and wind theory, boat handling procedures, maneuvering exercises and safety procedures. Course consists of classroom theory and four, four hour lessons on the water.

Advanced Sailing Courses

Basic Coastal Cruising Course
This course provides knowledge necessary for sailing the Narragansett Bay area. Students spend two eight hour days cruising a pre-determined trip using tide tables, charting and dead reckoning current and weather.
Prerequisite: Basic Sailing Certification Cost $495.00
Students receive Basic Coastal Cruising Certification

Bareboat Charter Course
Designed for the advanced sailor who wants to cruise or yacht charter.
This course provides the knowledge necessary to cruise safely along coastal waters. Course requires a minimum of three days, two nights aboard. Topics include chart reading, tide, currrents, anchoring, docking, instrument use,yacht systems and engine maintenance. Provisioning is extra.
Prerequisite: Basic Sailing Certification and Basic Coastal Crusing Cost $595.00
Students receive Bareboat Charter Certification
